The Technical Social Democrats of Finland
The Technical Social Democrats is a society for social democratic engineers and technicians etc.
The purpose of the society is to
- act as a cooperative body for technical people within the Social Democratic Party
- assist the party and its branches with technical expert knowledge
- develop and enhance the political and professional skills of its members
The society addresses politically important technical issues, which cannot be dealt with in local municipal branches of the party.
The society promotes cooperation of social democratic members in other associations and trade unions.
The society is nation wide. The members come from all major industrial cities.
The Technical Social Democrats of Finland was founded in 1980.
